Communications Officer - Digital Channels The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing the Infrastructure for Tomorrow-infrastructure with sustainability at its core. The Communications Officer - Digital Channels plays a pivotal role in ensuring the strategic alignment and effective communication of AIIB's mission and activities through its online presence. Responsible for coordinating website updates, optimizing content, and enhancing user experience, this role contributes to the organization's visibility and engagement with its stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily website update requests from internal department focal points across the Bank, ensuring compliance with AIIB's Policy on Public Information (PPI) and timely execution by the Bank's website agency.
• Develop website style guides, standards, and SOPs under the guidance of the Communications Manager, ensuring alignment with AIIB's communications objectives.
• Collaborate with the wider communications team and subject matter experts across the Bank to develop high-quality, engaging content, tailored to digital channels for different audiences.
• Lead the design and implementation of strategies to drive website traffic and promote visibility of the Bank's flagship reports, white papers, blogs and other knowledge products.
• Prepare monthly analytical reports providing insights on the performance of the Bank's lead internal (intranet) and external (corporate website) communications channels.
• Stay updated on the latest website trends, sharing best practices and actionable insights with the wider communications team.
• Lead the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to maintaining the optimal performance and accessibility of the Bank's website at all times by working closely with the IT Department and external website agency teams.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field. Additional 2 years of relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in managing and updating website content in a corporate or non-profit environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to cocreate effective story telling across digital channels.
• Experience collaborating with design and technical teams to develop and execute communications campaigns.
• Working knowledge of SEO and associated tools, native website analytics and Google Analytics, as well as social listening tools.
• Working knowledge of the latest email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, SendPulse, HubSpot, etc.)
• Working experience with popular graphic design tools for digital media channels (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, AI tools, or similar).
• Experience developing and managing brand campaigns across social media channels.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Organized with strong project management skills to expertly manage multiple tasks and often competing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and able to proactively seize the initiative in sometimes changing and challenging circumstances where confident, deft and tactful improvisation is needed.
